What can I do at Mud Monkey? You can paint pottery, play with clay, make mosaics, and fuse glass.

Can young children participate? Yes! With your help, even toddlers can make fun art! With our new kid-safe glass blobs, even little ones can  create beautiful fused glass!

Is your pottery food safe? Yes! Eat from the plates, drink from the cups! Our glazes are all foodsafe and non-toxic!

How much does it cost? At Mud Monkey, you can paint something for as little as $6. Most of our pottery is between $12 and $24, but we have a large kid's selection in the $10 range. Our pricing is all inclusive, meaning that there are no extra fees for glazing and firing! It is just the price of the piece, plus tax.

I have some pottery I bought somewhere else. Can you fire it for me? No, sorry. Mud Monkey uses only certified non toxic  glazes and product. We will not  put something of unknown origin in our kilns.

What if I don't finish my project in one sitting? No problem! We will wrap it up for you and you can bring it back anytime to finish for just a $5 re-setting fee. We will waive that fee if you start a new piece or if you bring a friend who starts a new piece.

Can I reserve the Mud Monkey space for a private party? Yes! The Mud Monkey is available on Saturday nights after 6pm for private parties. There is a minimum $250 pottery, mosaic, or glass purchase. You are welcome to bring in food for your party.

Can I reserve the Mud Monkey space for a meeting if we do not want to paint pottery? Yes! The cost for renting our studio during non-business hours is $50 per hour. We can also provide food and beverages at an additional fee.

Can I rent your space to teach classes? Yes! The cost to rent our space varies. Please email bonnie@mudmonkeypottery.com with the particulars of your event and we will provide you with a customized quote.
